KNCT Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners Doncaster
This is a wool Berber carpet half cleaned, half dirty. Wool carpets can hide 3 times their own weight in dirty and it is very easily stained because it is dyed with acidic dispersal dyes and food colouring is a dispersal dye. The problem customers have is they dive under the kitchen sink and grab the first stain remover that they see which is almost always and alkaline product and then they scrub, all their achieves is to set the stain and make it permanent. The best thing you can do if you have an accident on a wool carpet is to blot with a towel or tissue then apply small amount of cold water and blot again. When no more colour transfer onto the tissue or towel... Stop... if you go any further you are liable to ruin yours carpet. Call out a professional who had training to remove colour stains from a wool carpet.
